The topic for my Growth and Profit Group session in February was Boosting your Resilience.  We are in a marathon not a sprint, which is sapping our energy. There is light at the end of the tunnel because the vaccine is being rolled out. We just have to keep well, avoid the Virus, conserve our energy, retain our optimism, and survive until the upturn comes later this year.

It is now clear that the first quarter of 2021 is going to be extremely challenging. We are in tier 5, lockdown by another name, until at least mid-February. But equally there is light at the end of the tunnel because the vaccine is being rolled out.

What are your plans to bounce back and fully exploit the opportunities in quarter 2 and beyond?

My latest Growth and Profits Group Workshop was on the topic of How to Sell when almost Everyone has Gone Home. 

When I planned my latest Growth and Profit Group workshop, little did I know we would be under Lockdown2 and most people who were able to do so would be working from home again. 

The general feeling of the Group was that we must all work much harder on our pipelines by putting more prospects into the top of our sales funnel to get the same sales as before the Covid-19 pandemic. 

It’s the same mountain to climb; we just need a new path.
